Hella vom Eichelspitz 0285/98

(D1, S1, VGP 318/1, üF, FW ; SG) HD frei (DKV)

Our breeding started with Hella vom Eichelspitz in 2001    We had 2 litters with Hella listed below.   Our "A" were calm pups that made  great addition to a home.   They were hunting effectively at 10 months.   Several were retrieving.    Five of the "A" were tested in the derby with 4 Prize I's and a Prize III.  Two were tested in the fall test HZP receiving scores of 148, and 186.  One was tested in the VGP with overnight bloodtrack and got a Prize III 276  üF.    Two "B" litter pups were tested in the derby and received prize 1*.   The "B" litter had some great looking pups that loved to hunt.    Hella was a great pointer, loved to retrieve, and swim.   She was steady in the duck blind, and great company in the home.  Hella was 25 inches tall and weighed 59 pounds

Wanting to share Hella's great disposition and love.  I decided to take on the task of making her a therapy dog.  Click on the tag to learn more.

Asta vom Gänsehimmel   0127/02

(D1, HZP 186, Fw: SG) HD A2 (DKV)

In 2007 we bred Asta  the Daughter of Hella.   Asta was one of the first dogs we trained.   The qualities that we found in Asta that we liked were her calm disposition, great natural retrieving, easy to train, and ability to hunt  She worked with me and got a 186 in her HZP, receiving   an 11 in pointing.  Asta has hunted a lot to include large duck hunts and large pheasant hunts.  She is a great hunting dog and family dog.   The pups out of Asta got her disposition and the nose of the father and mother.   they are great hunters, 2 were tested in the derby and got prize 1''s.   they were also tested in the Solms getting a prize 1 and 2.    Asta is 26 inches tall and weighs 62 pounds.

llka vom Osterberg   0704/01

(D1, SOLoE1), VBR-E VGP 297/2, FW: SG (J))HD frei (A1) (DKV)

Ilka vom Osterberg is a braunschimmel Deutsch Kurzhaar (liver ticked).  She was whelped in April of  2001.     She  had 1 litter before leaving Germany.      Ilka is a very good dog in the field. She is a very good pointing (vorstehen!) dog. In the winter of 2002 she did a great job while hunting in Germany.  Besides the usual hunting  she also hunted down a wild boar, everybody was inspired by this dog, because she did it as such a young dog. Ilka loves

retrieving and is very  obedient. She has done some duck hunting as well.  She is 25.5 in. tall and weighs 68 pounds.    She is extremely calm and friendly, making her a great family dog.  We produced our "C" and "D"  and "F"  litter with Ilka. The "C" pups are great  and in their first year.  One did the Derby and got a Prize 3(J), 2 did the Solms and got Prize 1 (J)'s, and one completed her VGP and got a 310/1 at one year old.   Ilka's "C"  pups did their required Derby in the spring of 2006 and the 5 that were tested got Prize 1's.   In the fall of 2006, 2 more of Ilka's "C" litter pups were tested and got a Prize 1's in the solms, so out of 4 tested in the fall test they got prize 1's.  One was tested AZP and got a prize 1.   A 2nd "C" litter pup was tested in the VGP at 2 years old (2006) and got a Prize 294/2. In 2007 a 3rd dog tested VGP and got a prize 1, and one was retested receiving a prize 1.   Two of the "C" litter went to the IKP in 2007, both passed, one tied for 3rd place and was one of the Suchensieger dogs.  In 2008 we had 3 dogs entered in the Kleemann in 2008, luck was not with them and they did not pass, Catza was the V5 female.  The "C" litter received a breeders award for Derby, Solms, and VGP.  Three of her D litter pups were tested in the Derby and got prize 1's.    The "F" litter 2  were tested in the Derby and got prize 1's.  Two of the "F" litter pups were tested in the AZP and got prize 1's.  Ilka brought a lot of size to our breedings, plus intense pointing, and many of her get had great conformation.    She had a V rated dog in each style of breeding out of 3 different studs.

Condor vom Gänsehimmel  0085/05

 [S1, D1,VGP 300/1,VBR  FW: SG]  (DKV) HDO (A2)

Condor was out of Ilka vom Osterberg and Zorro KS Pöttmes. Schwarzschimmel in color (Black and white)  He had a strong nose and was very staunch on his points. His love for water work shows in the picture below as he had a lot of desire and drive.  Condor completed his VGP with very good score of 300 prize 1.  He had all perfect scores in field and water, and only got marked down on his rabbit retrieve in the forest work.   He also has all 4's in his Derby and Solms   He was a large dog weighing 75 pounds.  He had a very nice large male head.  He was rated SG1.     His pups have great nose and size.  We used him twice for breeding because of his strong abilities. Unfortunately he died young before he could be used more.

Condor was a litter mate to Cole so his ahnentafel and Pedigree are the same as Cole's listed below.

  [D1, VBR-E S1(oE) BTR, IKP 121/2, VGP 292/2]
FW: SG  HD0  (A1)

Dabo is out of Fausko KS vom Schieferberg and Nadi KS Pöttmes. He is Schwarzschimmel in color (Black and white).   The individual in Germany that owned him became very ill and we were able to purchase him.  We are so grateful to his previous owner and family  for letting us get him.   He works scent out very well, and does not rush in.   Ben has a great nose and is very biddable, he is a pleasure to hunt behind and a joy to have in our home.   He has met no person yet that he could not  love and bring around to scratching his ears or petting him.  We used him with our "F" litter which turned out to be great dogs with strong pointing.   They were of considerable size as Ben is and so was the Dame.

Flora vom Gänsehimmel
0286/08
[VJP 49, AZP1 ]    FW:  SG      HD0 (A2)

Deutsch Kurzhaar Flora is a daughter of Dabo and Ilka.  Flora is a good size female with a very good nose.   She has an elegant head and a great forechest her pigment is considered dark liver.   She has desire and point in her and is very cooperative.   She is a great dog to hunt with working on running pheasants very well.

Due to problems in 2009 some weather related, some just poor timing, I was unable to test Flora.   In 2009 she found a new home with a dear friend.  She was tested in the AZP and did great all 4's.   Her  search behind the  duck  was very impressive she did a great  search producing the duck.

Cali vom Rahe

 (D1, S3, S1), FW: V1,  HD frei (B1) (DKV)

Cali is a Schwarz Deutsch Kurzhaar (Black).  Shortly after having our "A" litter I started searching for dogs to improve our line, I felt cooperation and pointing were there but I needed stronger conformation.  Cali's father and Grandfather consistently three dogs with great conformation and abilitiees.  She was whelped in November of 2004.     Monika and Reinhard Nolte were kind enough to let us import her and Axel Wreidt assisted so we are so grateful to them.   Cali has been a joy since she got here.   She is very cooperative dog.   She loves the water.   Her search is great and she is a pleasure to hunt with.  Solid points that produce game every time.  All of her pups carry her traits as are the pups out of those.   .

Ellie is a 3rd generation dog out of our kennel we owned both great grandmothers and have trained and tested the mother and grandfather.  This gives us a firm foundation of what is behind her.  She is a hard working dog with a lot of desire.  Her testing does not show her abilities.   She lacked early obedience and experience that is needed for a great testing dog.  She is 62 1/2 cm and weighs about 72 pounds.  She is a very elegant and well put together dog.

A daughter of Cali and Cole,  she had the intensity of Cali and we got the cooperation of Cole giving us a dog that was great fun to hunt with.   Her drive and enthusiasm showed in her water work and her field searching.  She was recognized  for excellent field work in her fall test with a 4H.   Molly had an excellent nose, this along with her intensity on point made her a great dog in the field.  She was  very steady since she was a young dog.   She was a great family dog with lots of affection.
